This is a million dollar question and everyone who runs an Internet marketing / SEO services agency is looking for an answer to this question.

Here are my 2 cents:

  1. Site Auditor (Standalone tool): This could be a true lead magnet for digital marketing firms.

Have a free site auditor tool embedded on your site and let people audit their site by entering their site URL. To provide them the full website audit report, you ask for their name and email Id.

By looking at their site audit reports, you know where they need improvements. You can create a customized service package based on that and can offer them in a follow-up mail.

You have a high chance of conversion in comparison to an email blast wherein you send out a mail just talking about what you offer (and do not know anything about what they need)

  1. Mobile Prospector: Approaching businesses who don’t have sites and convincing them to have one can be very tough.

A comparatively easier task would be --> Finding out non-mobile friendly websites and reaching out to their owners/ representatives. You can offer them customized packages to make their sites mobile friendly. (Again giving something that they lack and not just talking about what you can offer)

The icing on the cake is, there are tools available that not just tell you about the mobile friendliness status on a website but also scraps & provide you the contact details. You just need to reach out to them with your customized offerings :slight_smile:

this is something worth, but very few site auditor provide it for free, do you know any site which give free site auditor to install in our website ?

You can get as many free site audit reports as you want. But, if you want to have one embedded on your site, then I am know aware of one that comes for free.

Even if something comes free, the reports they generate have their logo / mark. I am sure, this is something you don’t want to have on your reports when you send them to your potential customers.

In digital marketing, image and the content matters. As per SMM, It’s better to avoid using content in the image, as the plain image would have the maximum reach.

What does. Digital Marketing firm do?

Offer expertise to " generate leads and conversion if leads into Sales ".

So if being a Digital Marketer your self, you are unable to employ tools, skills for yourself, how can prospects/customers rely on you.

The best advice would be to start practicing what you intend to do for your customers.

A tentative road map ( without any specific order ) could be as follows :

  1. Don’t make traditional Website, rather have Landing Page for each single keyword ( product/service ).

  2. Do SEM ( Paid Campaign ) on Google and FB for chosen keyword.

  3. Offer valuable Opt-in incentive to visitor to capture LEAD.

  4. Email marketing to captured LEADs to covert into Sales followed by upsell/cross sell.

Basically, employ marketing tools under your disposal to generate lead for yourself.

Having a site auditor is a very good method to attract visitors to your site… But if you will have a free site auditor tool installed on your site would convey the wrong message.

It’d be better to invest some bucks and develop one for your site… Always remember every penny you invest on such tools give you a great return.
