We are hosting two US-India Startup Forum in Delhi and Bangalore on the sidelines of the upcoming US-India Strategic and Commercial Dialogue in early September. More than a dozen US investors are participating in these conferences, which are intended to bring together startup entrepreneurs and US investors. The conference in Delhi will be held on September 1 and the one in Bangalore on September 3.
In Delhi, the keynote addresses will be delivered by Amitabh Kant, the CEO of NITI Aayogh, and Dr. Mukesh Aghi, the president of the US-India Business Council. We also expect the participation of other Indian and traveling US officials at level of assistant secretaries. The US investors attending our events will also meet with a few top Central officials and a couple of state chief ministers.
In Bangalore, our partner is the Federation of the Federation of Karnataka Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Our media partner is the Deccan Herald. Our investor delegation will be meeting the chief minister and the state IT minister is likely to speak at the event as well.
The Startup Forums provides an excellent platform for entrepreneurs to listen to, and interact and network with US investors and find out about their investment philosophies and strategies.
Startups that register for the event will get to make “elevator pitches” before the investors and the general audience. An elevator pitch will be for 3 minutes.
